Viv is the Owner of Restore Wellbeing, a space she created with Sharlene to provide a range of natural and holistic health options under one roof.
Viv leads the team of Massage Therapists at Restore, She relishes a challenge and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. As well as her Massage qualifications Viv also is a certified practitioner in The Feldenkrais Method® and combines her decade of knowledge and experience in the Massage Therapy field with using neuroplasticity to teach movement and awareness, creating possibilities for new neural pathways and changes in lifelong habitual movement patterns, allowing her clients to move with ease and less pain.
She loves working with clients to help them better understand how awareness of their day to day movement is affecting them and how having different movement options could serve them better and help them to manage and alleviate pain, stress and anxiety. Viv offers one on one Functional Integration Lessons and teaches group Awareness through Movement lessons and workshops in the community.
She has worked extensively with a wide range of people including pregnant women, athletes, office workers as well as people in desperate need of a little rest and relaxation. Virginia Clarke
Osteopath
Virginia is Restore Wellbeing’s Osteopath. She lives locally with her husband and two young children.
Virginia graduated with her Masters of Osteopathy in 2007. She initially ran a busy practice in Albany, Auckland, before she began splitting her time between clinical work and teaching at Unitec’s Osteopathy School. These days Virginia is busy with family life so she has chosen to restart her osteopathic practice closer to home.
In her clinical practice, Virginia relishes the challenge of working with people that are facing complex issues with their health. This often includes chronic pain, headaches, or recurrent injury. Virginia is ACC registered and can help with new or unresolved injuries. She enjoys collaborating with other health professionals to ensure that her patients are accessing the best healthcare possible.

Mathew Kalloor
Counselling Psychologist
Mathew is a registered counselling psychologist with extensive experience in trauma work, coaching, mentoring and training. His more recent interests lie in supporting organisational development and couples therapy. Drawing from advancements in neuroscience, Mathew provides practical, informational frameworks to understand the ‘what’, ‘how’ and ‘why’ of psychological experience; and its impact on decision making, performance, relationships and well-being.
Mathew is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including ACT, CBT, DBT, MI and Neuro-psychotherapy. He takes a client-centred, eclectic approach to therapy and works along with clients to derive practical, and lasting solutions to challenging issues.
Mathew’s work experience includes roles in the private, public and non-profit sector. In a previous role, he developed a nationally delivered training program on brining an experiential and culturally relevant lens to supporting survivors of trauma.
Mathew completed his Psychology training at the Auckland University of Technology and holds a Master’s Degree in Health Science (Psychology) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology. He also has a degree in Computer Engineering and in a previous work life, used to design for web based applications bringing an aesthetic and UX focus.
Louise Lansdown

Louise is a skilled Counsellor and ACC Therapist, who is experienced in working with mental health and emotional wellbeing issues. She is ACC accredited for sensitive issue counselling (sexual trauma).
Working across a range of counselling modalities, including CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Louise works within a trauma informed and integrative approach, so that whatever approach it is that you need, is tailored for you.
Louise also works with a wide range of other concerns and problems you may be experiencing, including depression, anxiety, grief, significant life events and stress. Maree Burns
Counsellor
Counselling with Maree is a collaborative process involving reflection on the ways you are being influenced and are influencing the problems you experience. With Maree you will consider your strengths, resources and values and using these, make visible and possible, alternative directions to support the change you seek.
Maree brings a varied background to her counselling practice including a research, publication and advocacy history as well as counselling work in private, NGO and tertiary education environments. She has worked at the University of Auckland as a counsellor since 2011 and prior to that she was the director of the Eating Difficulties Education Network (EDEN). Her counselling approach utilises narrative and relational externalising ideas.

Tom is Restore Wellbeing’s resident Acupuncturist, he is an experienced practitioner & a member of NZRA (New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists Inc) as well as an ACC Treatment Provider. He has been living in NZ for the past 10 years and has an extensive range of Qualifications from both South Korea and NZ . Tom enjoys combining a wide range of skills such as needling, moxibustion, cupping and electric stimulation in his treatments and believes our bodies have the natural ability to heal and that TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) treatment promotes self-healing. TCM treatment is not only to treat physical problems but also to address issues such as anxiety and depression, as its incredibly effective in calming the mind. A lot of people think about needling as a very painful method , even sometimes those who have had tattoos, Tom always endeavors to practice safe and painless needling in a relaxing environment whilst working within medical guidelines.

Bettina’s passion about nutrition and natural medicine translates into her love to help people on their quest to achieve the best for their health and wellness. Originally from Germany, Bettina has been enjoying living in New Zealand since 1998.
Bettina gained sound medical knowledge from working in the medical field for more than 25 years. As a medical assistant she worked alongside GPs and specialists and later completed studies in a specialised field of cancer diagnosis, working in both Germany and New Zealand.
Enthusiastic about healthy ageing and a holistic approach to wellbeing she completed diplomas of natural therapies with distinction in Auckland.
Since then Bettina enjoyed supporting people’s health in locations such as pharmacy, health store, natural health clinic and being quizzed about natural health in a local radio show. Bettina’s approach is to listen and work with people creating a wellness plan that suits their individual needs and fits into their life. She will take a detailed health history and uses Functional testing when applicable to evaluate wellbeing and address underlying causes. She enjoys helping people to make the right choices for their wellbeing and loves when they feel the difference it makes for their life. Bettina’s special interests are in preventative care, healthy ageing and chronic health conditions including support around cancer therapies. Bettina is mindful that sometimes change needs to be in little steps and she is happy to guide people on their health journey.
